About
Bastrop is changing fast. You've seen it — the traffic, the crowded schools, the roads that weren't built for this many people. Growth isn't inherently bad, but growth without a plan is a problem we're all living with right now.
I'm running for Mayor because I believe we can do better. Fiscal responsibility means your tax dollars are spent wisely and transparently. Infrastructure first means we stop approving developments that our roads and utilities can't handle. And preserving our character means protecting the Bastrop we all chose — before it's gone.
FISCAL DISCIPLINE
The Problem: Bastrop residents deserve to know exactly where their tax dollars are going — and right now, that accountability is missing.
My Commitment: Transparent budgeting, public financial reporting, and a simple rule: growth should pay for itself.
INFRASTRUCTURE FIRST
The Problem: Bastrop is approving rooftops faster than it's building the roads, drainage, and utilities to support them.
My Commitment: No new development approvals without verified infrastructure capacity. Period.
COMMUNITY CHARACTER
The Problem: The small-town feel that drew us all here isn't guaranteed — it has to be protected deliberately.
My Commitment: Smart, measured growth that respects our history and preserves what makes Bastrop worth living in.
